R# RUN LOLA RUN

  Disclaimer: I am participating in Blogging from A-Z challenge 2022 and this is my post for R# RUN LOLA RUN

When I was young, the world was beautiful,  nice and green 🌴🌳🌲🪴🌿🌿🍀☘🌱

I was scared of dying and leaving the fun in between 🌺🌷⚘🌼🌻🥀🌹🏵💐

As I grew older it became a little less merriment 🙁

As homework and expectations took the place of enjoyment 🙃

I thought it was all temporary 

Once I reached adulthood, it will again be merry 🙂 

So till then RUN LOLA RUN 🏃‍♀️ 

The fun will soon return 


As I became an adult, soon came matrimony and parenthood 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

The need of the hour said to fulfil my duties as a good wife and mother should 🤹‍♀️

The sun still shone beautifully 🌞 

And the birds chirped happily 🦜🦜

 Yet RUN LOLA RUN 

So much still needs to be done ✔ 


Life was smooth, just a little hectic 😇

Till out of the blue came the PANDEMIC🤔

I wish it was an albatross and I the ancient Mariner😈

I could have easily shot it with my gun to keep the world happier.🙂

But it had come to stay 🙄

Many a life it wanted to take away 😢

So it was again RUN LOLA RUN🏃‍♀️ 

Since now Corona has begun 🧍‍♀️


As was told, it would go on its own 😐

But wave after wave it has only grown 😑

Vaccines in all corners of the world were administered 😒

With a sigh of relief, as Covid seemed conquered😏

That still appears to be a far cry 😢 

For which only our future holds the reply 🤔 

Till then RUN LOLA RUN 🏃‍♀️ 

The world ain't no more fun 😔


In between the Pandemic with its Persistence 😒

Some fools of nations thought it wise to challenge their peaceful existence 😬

All hell has broken loose since the War has begun 😒

In which the final victory shall belong to no one 🙄

Weapons, bombs and their thunderous explosion🤯

Humanity ending in damage and destruction 🤕

We all know the world is round 🌍

SO RUN LOLA RUN 🏃‍♀️ 

Till the world of your childhood is found .🏝🏝🏖🏞


LESSON LEARNT #

Be grateful if u could live just today 🌝

What tomorrow beholds none of us can say 🌤

REPERCUSSIONS #

 With this gluttony for power, we can't say where humanity will go🔥

Or will it end at the threshold of someone's ego☄

Just take one day at a time 🌈🌈🌀

One day everything will fall in place🤞 and rhyme😊

    So you've been experimenting with all types of writing - from rich layered experience, to poetry! Someone's having a lot of fun with the A-Z challenge! Poor LOLA, no wonder RAT RACE also starts with R, all LOLA seems to be doing is RUN RUN RUN!

    I loved it . Running can never stop....corona deftly made us more thankful and to be glad to just be alive still morons on earth will never learn...am writing a sci fi story mocking how humans function....will finish soon...happy writing to u

 Disclaimer: I am participating in  Blogging from A-Z challenge 2022  and this is my sixth post, F # FACE THE MUSIC WITH ME  The incident to which I shall be relating. the series proving how big an idiot I am, took place at the World famous Goddess Karni Temple near Bikaner, Rajasthan. It was during our Autumn 😎 Break. My Parents and we four sisters were on a road trip to Rajasthan's holy places. It was the last stop, almost our journey's end before heading back to Jaipur. Let me brief you before we proceed, that Karni Mata Mandir is also known as the Temple of Rats with approximately 25,000 black and white ones, housed there. We were not expecting them to be dangerous, or scary. To be honest, I had imagined them in their nice warm cages, but no, as we entered, I was in shock.
