VACATION # I NEED YOU😇 EVEN IF YOU DONT NEED ME 😏

I am not a hypochondriac 😏

Still, I keep thinking about why I am sick like a maniac 😒

I got myself tested and followed the prescription 😷

All of which came down to that I needed a VACATION 😎🤠

It's been more than three years, I went on one 🤔

Just work, work and work  is simply no fun 🙄


I could as well go to a place nearby 😋

The countryside or hills or even a riverside 😇

How about even discovering a place yet unknown 🤩

The only prerequisite is there is no WIFI or any connectivity for my phone 😑

How wonderful it would be to get lost in the wilderness 😃😃

Just enjoying nature in its full bloom and awesomeness😃😃

I could go with my family or my friends 🧑‍🤝‍🧑👭👭

Or even hitch-hiking alone does make sense🚴‍♀️

I would prefer to travel light 🤸‍♀️

Just not bothering about how I dressed or looked like 🧑‍🦱


Even lying for the whole day in a comfortable hotel bed, watching TV would do 😁

All the refreshments and meals shall be provided by the room-service too🍧🍦🍿🍕🍟

I shall not be cooking, cleaning or doing my daily chores 🙄

For all things in the world, my daily routine has presently become a bore 🙄🙄😒

I'd rather just laze around the whole day 😋😋

And feel the life in me in every way 😍😍

How I am looking forward to a well-deserved break 😇😇

Just wondering how much patience will it take 🤔

For me to pack my bags and leave for the airport ✈or the station 🛤🛣

Before the Pandemic strikes again and worsens the situation 🧭

Its wave after wave🌊🌊 crashes the pebbles of my plans 

And tours and travels are once again banned 🙄 


I desperately want to put in my status as VACATION MOOD ON 😎

Walking barefooted on a beach ⛱🏝 and singing along 😎😎

I could even carry my guitar 🎸 and play on a mountain top 🏔

Even if anyone finds it irritating 🙄 and wants me to stop ✋ 

I would just smile in a sheepish way 😁but would not listen 

And play him his favorite composition 🤩🤩🤩🤩


Will all these remain just figments in my imagination 😏

I m happy at least my mind has just gone on this VACATION 🤩🤩

Already feeling excited and refreshed 🌝🌝

Ready to take on my work , happily rejuvenated 🌞🌞

For the time being this is all that can be done ✔ ✨ 

Soon you  will definitely see me on a holiday having fun

    Go go, and send lots of pictures! Don't keep putting it off, just go - even if a short one. Unplanned trips sometimes make the best adventures! Keep taking those small breaks, self care and merriment is absolutely required too!

DRIZZLE TO DOWN POUR

  Disclaimer:  I am participating in  Blogging from A-Z challenge 2022  and this is my 4 the post for  D # Drizzle to Downpour  I was in the first year of college. We were given a preparatory leave for our midterm exams. It was Monsoon time.  That day I had a project to submit so had to go to college. Normally my whole group of friends would board the bus together, but today I had no company. The sky seemed clear. I felt if I could get the bus at 8, reach college around 9, and submit the assignment, I could be back by 10 o clock. That way I could save the rest of the day for studying. I just took my wallet, put my project done so prudently in my bag and off I went.  I boarded the almost empty bus and took my favourite window seat. Whenever commuting to and fro, I have crossed the Howrah Bridge, I have always felt so relaxed. The cool breeze from the Hooghly river whispering in my ear always brought tranquillity and peace. The bus had great momentum. I felt I could reach even before 9.

   Disclaimer:  I am participating in  Blogging from A-Z challenge 2022  and this is my post for R# RUN LOLA RUN When I was young, the world was beautiful,  nice and green 🌴🌳🌲🪴🌿🌿🍀☘🌱 I was scared of dying and leaving the fun in between 🌺🌷⚘🌼🌻🥀🌹🏵💐 As I grew older it became a little less merriment 🙁 As homework and expectations took the place of enjoyment 🙃 I thought it was all temporary  Once I reached adulthood, it will again be merry 🙂  So till then RUN LOLA RUN 🏃‍♀️  The fun will soon return  As I became an adult, soon came matrimony and parenthood 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 The need of the hour said to fulfil my duties as a good wife and mother should 🤹‍♀️ The sun still shone beautifully 🌞  And the birds chirped happily 🦜🦜  Yet RUN LOLA RUN  So much still needs to be done ✔  Life was smooth, just a little hectic 😇 Till out of the blue came the PANDEMIC🤔 I wish it was an albatross and I the ancient Mariner😈 I could have easily shot it with my gun to keep the world happier.
