Compliments are needed by all πΉ
Hey Mirror "Do u think I look Pretty" ?How important is it to look stunning? Yes, I agree; it's your first impression of a stranger. But somehow, it's getting seriously significant. You need to look well groomed when going to meet someone for the first time.
Presently it seems really really crucial to look your best, be it in reality or in a photograph. The need to look perfect is outshining all the efforts required to be put in. Although the latter is way easier and pocket-friendly, just a little editing and adding a few filters can make a dull picture perfect. The person concerned an apple of everyone's jealous πeyes.
"Jassi Jaise koi nahi "started this phenomenon called "Makeover", and everything spelt metamorphosis after that. The craziness is sweeping old and young. You walked into a makeover clinic and walked out transformed, till you washed your hair and face the next day.
But the pressure to look perfectly presentable at all times requires regular visits to a salon/beauty parlour and following a strict regime of manicure, pedicure, facial and spas (all gender-neutral).
These days, kids barely in their teens want to grow up as beauty queens and Greek Gods.Nobody wants frizzy hair and a messy appearance.
In fact, the weirdest thing I came across was ladies visiting a parlour to go for their child's PTM. This is incomprehensible. Do straight hair and a shiny face guarantees better grades for the child or do the ladies too want to outshine each other as far as looks are concerned.
In fact, in Bollywood, most of the actresses have gone for cosmetic surgeriesπ. I don't understand does having a better nose or fuller lips would make them better actresses. GOD ONLY KNOWS.
Previously such surgeries were recommended for burn cases or reconstructive procedures for accident victims, but now it's purely for people who are dissatisfied with their looks and want an enhancement. When Sridevi died, she didn't even look like herself. After undergoing so many face-lifts, facial esthetic and botox procedures, she looked like some terrible-looking imposter.
In the good ol' black n white days of Indian cinema, the actors/actresses just concentrated on their craft, getting into the skin of their character, notwithstanding if they were looking perfect or not. Just breathing life into their playing roles was sufficient for them to be remembered until today. Well, all in all, it's just fine to be imperfect as long as you are happy πin your skin. It doesn't matter if you are short, fat, pimple-prone, or your teeth are ugly if your company is delightfully sought after by your friends and family.
AND ONE THING NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN WE SHALL ALL AGE SOONER OR LATER AND WON'T REMAIN BEAUTIFUL and YOUNG FOREVER BUT THE BEST PART IS WE SHALL HAVE COMPANY IN THIS. ( all our friends and enemies will grow old too. So if they stare at your pot belly u stare back at their wrinklesππ)THE ENTIRE WORLD WILL AGE GRADUALLY.THE ONLY THING THAT SHALL BE CHERISHED WILL BE MEMORIES OF TIMES SPENT TOGETHER❤❤❤
And for the record if u really are looking forward to compliments πon your looks for the rest of your life keep giving the same to others π they will be definitely returned π
Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. But what to do if all beholders are hoping to find a Kardashian sisters-look-alike? Your post shows the perfect reflection of today's society. Well done!!!
